Salsa con Estilo
In modern salsa, various dance styles are mixed and fused, such as son, rumba, chachacha, mambo, yuka, makuta, etc. A dancer has to think about each movement and prepare physically and technically in all disciplines. In this group we are going to learn how these dance styles are mixed, their technique, and their Caribbean flavour. Just as many ingredients are mixed in culinary art to create a tasty salsa (the edible kind), when we dance salsa we can include all the styles we want, as long as the essence of Cuba and the Caribbean warmth and flavour are maintained.
